About
A holding company that believes ownership should be visible.
Hooligans Holdings is a private holding company. We acquire long-term stakes in operating businesses for our own balance sheet — we manage no outside capital and act for no third parties.
Where most holding companies stay silent, we do the opposite: we publish who we back and why. The founders in our portfolio built real things, and their names belong in the light.
How we got here
2012
Founded by three operators pooling proceeds from their own exits.
2014
First partnership — Chen & Sons Logistics. Still held today.
2019
Tenth company joins. The founders’ register goes public.
2026
Twenty-four companies across six sectors, all privately held.
Patience
Positions are entered with the expectation of holding through several cycles. There is no fund clock and no exit mandate.
Alignment
Capital, decisions and responsibility sit with the same small group of owners. Incentives stay straightforward.
Visibility
We name the people we back. A public register keeps us honest and gives our founders the credit they earned.
Judgement
Decisions are made by a small team that knows each holding directly, written down, and revisited only when facts change.
“The name on the building should be the name of the person who built it.”
Founding memorandum, 2012
